Hey guys, sorry for such a long time since the last post, I’ve been crazy busy shooting weddings and have been focused more on the clients getting their proofs in a timely fashion than getting blogs posted… What’s better than to come back with a bang! The latest engagement session shot in the evening in Lansing with Jessica & Chris, they drove over an hour to do the shoot in my “back yard” of Lansing. They were a lot of fun to work with. Benton Harbor, MI Wedding Photography – Bethany & Daniel
Wow what a day it was. This wedding was about two hours away from base. I love traveling so it wasn’t a problem and it was totally worth it! The Blue Dress Farm was the venue we were so lucky to play at. Bethany & Daniel’s families were so welcoming and fun to work with. Weather couldn’t have been better. What a beautiful ceremony with touching speeches and a new favorite tradition for me including soil from two families homes combining to create on single ground for a new beginning. Dexter, MI Wedding Photography – Brittany & Michael
Wow what a day this was. To start, I was already excited to shoot this wedding after having such a good time shooting their E-session a few months ago. We started at her mothers salon and then headed to the ceremony site where we were hoping for a dry ceremony, so lucky we were to stay dry till the ceremony was over. Later we had a beautiful “magic hour” of light when we did some photos of just the bride and groom. Enjoy!

East Lansing, MI Engagement Photography – Toni & Matt
Matt and Toni are perfect for each other, both are so nice and outgoing. I’ve known Toni now for a few years as we used to work together in a restaurant. We did this shoot in the Horticultural Gardens on MSU’s campus. It was a hot evening so we tried to stay in the shade. Toni and Matt will be getting married near the end of the year so look for a winter wedding blog in the future!

Lansing, MI Engagement Photography – Jennifer & Carl
This couple drove all the way up from Sandusky Ohio just for the engagement shoot…not really; they were actually quite efficient, they had a wedding to attend while they were in town, and I know they mentioned some other things they were here for as well. I think this shoot ended up going for a few hours as the weather was perfect and we were enjoying conversation while shooting, except while I ran across the roaring Red Cedar River. The river was too loud to help them pose but they were so warmed up by then they cycled through some creative ones themselves. I’m looking forward to their wedding, but it’s not until June of 2012. Midland, MI Wedding Photography – Allison & Mark
What a gorgeous day it was for their wedding at the beautiful Dow Gardens in Midland, MI!
It’s always worth the trip to Dow Gardens, this place is so well kept and has beautiful locations for weddings. Allison & Mark are so kind and spent so much time putting together all the details for their big day and it totally paid off. Davison, MI Wedding Photography – Coutney & Jeremy
It was so great to see Courtney & Jeremy for their wedding at the Missionary Church in Davison. These guys planned it right from the flowers by Matt at Bdazzled, to the stop at Atlas Farms for pictures, and reception at Holy Redeemer Family Life Center. Congrats Courtney and Jeremy and may God bless your marriage!
